58th Inhale Performance Series

Kun-Yang Lin/Dancers invites performance artists of all genres- dance, music, spoken word, etc. to submit work for KYL/D’s 58th Inhale Performance Series. Selected artists receive free performance space, technical assistance, audience feedback, photography, videography and a $75 artist stipend.

To date, KYL/D has presented over 1,200 movement artists from PA and beyond. These shows fill to capacity! The application process includes a work sample, artist description and $20 application fee. Artists will be notified approximately one month before the performance.

About the InHale Performance Series

KYL/D's Inhale Performance Series is a quarterly performance series where selected artists receive free performance space, marketing support, technical assistance, videography, photography, and audience feedback. Inhale offers a supportive environment that fosters creative exchange of ideas, cultivates community and provides opportunities for members of the public to experience a wide spectrum of artistic disciplines. To date, KYL/D has presented over 1,200 movement artists from PA and beyond. The shows often fill to capacity!

General Application Notes:

  • Artists should submit pieces that are 10 minutes or less. Longer pieces will still be considered, but short pieces will be prioritized in order to present a greater number of artists per series.

  • Artists will be informed regarding if they are accepted or rejected approximately 4 weeks prior to the performance date.

  • Each application requires an application fee, paid via credit card or check.

  • There is no limit on how many times you can apply to Inhale per year. Artists may be chosen more than once per year, depending on the number of new applicants and the quality of work.
